The traffic light report is presented on one page under the 9 modules and key question headings:

    • one page aggregate result for the whole board
    • one page result for each director

Easy to use results for individual interviews for assessing director comments and key themes

  • perfect basis for the individual interviews that the chair or external convener needs to have with each director to learn the comments generated by the questions and create general themes for actions prior to the board planning session for actioning the results

The instant action plan immediately starts to provide supports and resources for the board’s KPI’s on their journey for addressing the identified risks and building their own capabilities each year

The Writable Action Plan

Health Sector External Convenors

It is best practice to have an externally led process for board evaluation every three years. The externally led process for evaluation gives an opportunity for a more robust process. The program is designed for the chair to lead the board through evaluation on the subsequent years so  Board KPI’s, trending and bench marking results continue

Why choose an External convener?

  • Participants will be more frank as they have a neutral person to discuss their results with which made the whole process better
  • the advantage in having an external convener is that you as the chair is at “arm’s length” from the process which makes for more neutrality
  • it resulted in a very clear report that gives 3 -4 actions for the board to focus on
