During her career in education Margaret has undertaken a range of roles, all of which have assisted in her developing a broad understanding of the challenges facing educators from many different perspectives.
Having taken on teaching, administrative and leadership positions in a variety of schools and settings, she has experienced education in different states, from co-educational as well as single sex orientations and from different sectors.
As Principal of Kambala, Margaret she gained experience in being responsible for the running of a complex environment which included boarding, the introduction of the International Baccalaureate, the establishment of an early learning centre with young children from 6 months of age - all within a high fee, high expectation landscape.
Her involvement in the educational community beyond the gates of Kambala has also given her a tremendous opportunity to contribute to and learn from the many others who are engaged in work towards the support and growth of our profession. Her primary goals is to create and enhance environments that allow our young people to flourish is a worthy goal.
